Commissions

Whether it is capturing the feel of a special place, or the spirit of a furry friend, the gift of commissioned, original painting is always memorable. Requests are discussed with the client to identify the desired size, look and feel of the finished piece, and I provide a quote and potential finish date to the client for consideration. A deposit of half of the finished price is due at the beginning, with the remaining amount to be paid upon delivery of the painting. Should the subject be within easy driving distance, I am happy to suggest painting on location, or a combination of plein air and studio creation. While I prefer to capture my own source photographs of the subject, I am willing to work with those captured by the client, however I am hesitant to work from source materials in the public domain or acquired through AI. Under normal circumstances, please allow 2 to 4 months for completion of the painting. Framing is separate of the painting cost, and I am available to discuss options on frames or recommend a local custom framer in your area.
